Pastry making or kneading bread dough always good for getting the shite from under the fingernails as well! A mate just asked me the other day to make a pork pie for chrimbo so lovely clean hands for me on chrimbo day! 😉

Pat, how much are the pies, what do they weigh (without additions) and their size?  I might commission one.  Would it need a customs assignment note, or loads of paperwork the farmers have to do to send it here?

Don't know what the rules are at present for sending that type of thing your way Don, I know there were all kinds of arguments over the likes of sausages and suchlike coming this way a little while back. The pies I usually make weigh about 5lb I reckon, don't know what they cost as I haven't made any in a few years, but if you can confirm the sending rules you can have one on the house mate! I'll even wash my hands!

Ever tried Henderson Relish on thi pie n gravy? bit like Worcester Sauce but much moor of a tang, bootiful!

Hendersons Relish med in Sheffield fer yonks, bit of a local speciality n tha can gerrit wi red n white striped label if thaz a Blade or blue n white stripe if thaz a Wendy fan.

Just had memories brought back when shown a clip of a 3 Para chrimbo dinner food fight. The tradition has obviously been started again as, after the food fight at a early 90's event, it was declared that 3 Para would never again have a chrimbo dinner. That suited us as it meant we didn't have to hang around for half the day waiting for the usual debacle of the grown ups serving us a crap lukewarm dinner before being released on leave but could just f.ck off mid morning, leaving the grown ups to frolic in their respective messes! Glad to see the behaviour hasn't improved! 🤣
