Steve will remember the bunfight at Castle Dillon in 75, the ruperts made a hasty retreat.  There was scoff on the walls and ceiling, good fun.

There was one or two who should have had a rock chucked at them never mind a cake, the majority in my time were good blokes, with the exception of a couple who shall remain nameless. Useless arrogant arseholes, who wouldn't heed advice given by senior NCOs.

Although it probably still applies somewhere, I thnk that was more relevant in WW1 and earlier wars Bob.  Officers treating the men like peasants.

Don there was one twat in NI, who tried to order me to hand over my sections flak jackets to another section, I told him in no uncertain terms what he could do, When I got called in to see the Gripper he asked what went on, I told him word for word what happened. He told me to keep it quiet and ripped the twat another arsehole. I never had any more problems with him after that. But what I'm getting at is it was gross stupidity on his part, because all he had to do was draw some from the G10 stores. FFS

I don't think ruperts were known for their wisdom, or endowed with common sense Bob.

Perhaps as years have advanced the idiot may reflect back on some of his previous behaviour in those years, and realise what big horse's cock he was !

I wouldn't name him openly on here Don,just let's say he was young inexperienced. And anybody who was there at that time would immediately recognize him mate.
