Memories
Just thought these might bring back a few memories.Â
Mostly benefits probably, the average working man couldn't afford it! Just reading this morning about the millions that are getting payments for anxiety, acne, tennis elbow etc, and the other day there was one about 14,000 or so getting payment for Munchausen's which means they're getting paid sickness benefit for faking illness even though the doctors know it's fake, but apparently that's an illness in itself! Whatever happened to malingering being an offence? 🙄Â
Long gone the days of 2 shillings and sixpence to get in and watch a match and even then felt robbed when the match was crap. Personally wunt go to the bottom of the street to watch pro footy these days, totaly different pass back and sideways sport now, tactics? to bore every fukker ta dee-th! Now and agee-an wetch the young uns on the spoorts centre field at the bottom of our roo-ad bein coached by grown ups with the same shite mentality, When a shouted ,"skin him ,grass him, cross or shoot!" One o the grown ups took exception and was told to "Shut Up!" but I guess my reply of "Fukk Off Thik Kunt" did,nt go down too well with the so called "expert". As for the thick twats who pay a mortgage these days to watch World Cup matches I can only assume that a lot of their ackers come from the out of control drugs industry. The only drug I would need to attend many of the matches is a double dose of sleeping pills! 😞Â
Crazy prices, but there are always fans willing to pay it, there will be much rejoicing now that England have put up a good show with a win against coatia 4-2.
Hope Harry Kane doesn't go on sick parade!
Good match last night, Croatia scored two good goals and their goalie played a blinder to prevent a landslide. Owd Arry played a blinder not just a goal scorer but but creative all over the pitch, Croatia looked a bit lightweight at times but still a good win.
It was a good all round game well played on both sides mate. As you say Harry Kane played a blinder well done him!
Best England performance fer yonks!
But it's not over till the fat lady sings, I'm optimistic but we'll wait to see the end result.
Agreed Bob, a lot of football to be played yet against teams with big hitters, best not to get exited.
They sometimes get a big shock mate, underestimating what they presume to be an insignificant team. Doesn't matter what other people tell you, never underestimate anybody because that can be a recipe for disaster. Been there done it myself!
The game takes place on the pitch Bob n dunt av owt ta do wi predictions made by "Experts".

Jack , I tried to get into that one mate , but was swamped with adverts and some site trying to suck me in to pay £3.00 a month so I didn't go any further, pity really our era!
Jack, just got into it mate, excellent, seeing the old Argosy and Farrah the Para.took.me straight back to Number 1 PTS Abingdon, stepping off the Fan to the first balloon and Aircraft jump.I can even remember the name of our old PJI a great guy by the name of Eddie Mallinson . You know old Farrah the Para had a marvelous memory for people, when I went to the RAE Farnborough in the MOD Plod, he came through the gat to catch a flight to NI. He stopped the car and said, bit of a change in career then! How did he remember me from my days in the Brigade!
Hew Pike's like that, remembers everyone who served under him, nicknames and everything!
Great memories there Jack! 🤗Â
