Ow much longer are you going to be in the toilet? Not too long luv, am just readin War and Peace! 😆Â
🤣 🤣 🤣 just a little while then!
Need to put a "Reserved!" sign on the bog door! 😆Â
Only place I get any peace!
Peace and quiet and plenty of time to contemplate, like mana from heavan before having to listen to the next lecture! 😴Â
I get one every day Dave! 🤣Â
That,s where deafness is a blessing Bob! 😆Â
Think I might have a touch of that Dave, after using windy picks at the pit, and firing without ear defenders I suppose it's not surprising!
For blokes who have served before ear defenders and who worked in heavy industry, Industrial Deafness is a way of life is a way of life. When a put mi caim in n wuz sent ta see an audiolagist the geezer asked, "What makes you think that your service resulted in deafness?" A sed, "Az thy ever fired a "Charlie G or Wombat?" Geezer dint know worra wo talkin about. Anyway a copped fer 2k one time payment compo.
Just asked my solicitor, who specialises in these claims to put one in for me. Whatever happens it's better in my sky rocket than theirs! Sheer greed really as he's just finally got me 200K for my accident, which of course I won't see a penny of once she gets her mitts on it! 🙄Â
Well done Pat not sure I would have liked to have gone through what you have for some cash
I never intended to claim as I'm not money orientated at all, and certainly didn't expect to get anywhere near that sum, But it will come in handy for all her plans to do all the bathrooms up and put some solar panels on the roof. I've transferred it all into her account anyway so doubt I'll see any of it! Of course no amount of dosh can make up for being spasticated by a foolish school girl showing off to her mates, who's had at least one more accident since according to reports, but it'll come in handy I'm sure! 🤗Â
About time Pat, but i genuinely thought you would have got aroun £350k,poss more. Hope that wasn't their first offer? In th US you could probably have added at least another three zeros if not a lot more, to it.Posted by: @patJust asked my solicitor, who specialises in these claims to put one in for me. They started at 100 Don, and even that was more than I was expecting. As usual they folded rather than go to court, but it could've gone either way in front of a judge, who might've decided I hadn't come off too badly after all! The KC that was arguing my case wanted me to go for the PTSD type of thing to up the claim but I refused having seen too many trip up by saying they can't bear to drive past the spot etc then get caught out by the insurance company spies filming them doing exactly that. There was one in the paper the other day trying to claim 5 million for injuries she said stopped her driving, walking 10 paces etc, then caught driving for 3 hours to get to the 10k run she was taking part in. The judge said her injuries were worth 340 grand but now she'd get f.ck all for dishonesty! I could probably have held out for another 50 or so but more than happy with what I can throw to TLO, and might even get a crumb or two thrown back! 😜Â
