'No pockets in a shroud' is a saying over here! A miserable old bastard who killed himself a couple of years back had 600,000 quid in the bank but used to shop exclusively from the reduced shelf and would share 1 spud with his wife when she was living. He'd bought the cheapest grave in the cemetery for them and when they dumped him in the coffin was bobbing about in a foot of water, (the reason it was so cheap). I'll die penniless if I can manage it and someone else can worry about disposing of my carcass! 😜Â
