Feels like I might end up in one Dave if I keep on going like this mate. I'm on first name terms with the blokes at the top the amount of crap I've taken up there recently.

They've made it that difficult to get into the tips here, with an application to be done on line and limited to 3 visits a year, no vans or double axle trailers, that I've taken to burning everything on what was my veggie patch. Their excuse was to reduce landfill but what they've actually done is put fly tipping up by about ten times, f.ckin' idiots!

Yeah I saw that one Don. I think they plan to dump all the rubbish south of the border as they don't have enough incinerators to burn it all!

They could tip it all in the Channel, that would stop the small boats. And they could just walk across!

Top weather for cycling thru nice countryside Jack, nice and clear with little traffic, ideal. I laff when I remember once cycling up a steep hill  on the back wack from Hathersage, knackerd and gasping I passed a young lad dry stone walling, sitting down having a smoke, he casually asked "What,s the time mate?"I was even too fukked to reply, "FUKK OFF!" 😥

Its been nice for a week or so the side roads make it more enjoyable. I'm glad I don't need to cycle into the city even though they have cycle lanes. Taking a friend out today he has stopped driving and is house bound, we are visiting the RAF radar museum

I dread the day when I can't drive anymore,  that's your independence gone.  The Ayatollah doesn't drive, so it's public transport to the shops, and possible online orders not looking forward to that!

I don't do driving if i can avoid it and she doesn't drive either.  Two planned school trips a week and that's it unless i get mugged for an Asda run or to take G/dtr to her dancing, but it's handy to have it sitting outside.

Went to the Armed Forces Day on the local airfield today and was pleased to see the padre doing the drumhead service at the start had his wings on that scarf thingy they hang round their necks. Didn't get chance to ask him who he served with but the RAF Falcons put on a good freefall display afterwards. TLO set out to annoy me by getting a Maureen sticker pinned on her by a reserve Maureen, and some fat bastard displaying his old 1950's truck called me a 'string dangler' and said "I suppose you'd've called me a Hat when you were serving". I said "I still would ya fat Hat bastard!" which TLO told me was rude! Not a bad few hours but a 40 mile detour to get home as all the roads were clogged so we went down the coast and caught the ferry across the lough, missing the Red Arrows to her disappointment, probably wanted another sticker!
