Don't you have the app on your phone that shows where you can and cannot fly?
Â
Jack, it does work mate, since I reset my PC it opens up no problem. must have been corrupted somewhere on my system. Well done mate!
glad its sorted. Still looking for a decent location to fly
Never had that problem with either the old tin lid or the newer plastic one when plummeting from the C130! Only helmets I've worn!
I still have my old para helmet I don't think I would like to wear that on the bike
That one seems to be doing a good job Jack, and a good clear picture on the camera by all accounts, are they the same as these dash cams you get from places like Halfords?
Only ever had the tin lid in my time Pat, which did you prefer?
The plastic one we were first issued was really only good for parachuting with and offered hardly any ballistic protection compared to the tin pot,but was light and comfortable to wear. It could boil yer head on tabs as it was polystyrene lined and the first version had no chin cup so sat uncomfortably under your jaw, cured by fitting one of the old straps or a chin cup for motorbike helmets you could buy. Later versions were heavier and gave better protection but the old tin hat stood out from the crowd along with the Denison whereas now the Hats have almost the same helmet and same looking clothing! On courses like Brecon they always wanted to borrow our helmets for their second go at the fitness tests after failing it wearing their wobbly sombreros bouncing about on that elasticated chinstrap!
