Remember when the first plastic helmets came out I never changed kept the metal one. I must admit it was heavy and only wore it when parachuting.
Those things they wore you could take a bath in them, bloody awful things!
Birmingham plod with the latest technology. I thought mine was cutting edge but they can put theirs to better use
Best thing since sliced bread, no hiding place for bad boys! Eye in the sky good kit' 👍Â
Good drone video Jack, used to visit Great Yarmouth a lot when visiting my mother in Lowestoft. When he was alive my stepfather was a volunteer at the 100th Bomb Group Museum at Thorp Abbotts. I have been there myself a few times and enjoyed it. If you ever go there do a video mate, I'd love to see it.
Jack thanks for that mate, brought back a few memories of going up there with my Stepfather who I had a lot of time for. He reckoned the area was haunted, and with the number of men lost on missions I wouldn't dispute that
He may have been there when I took my USAF & 82nd guy
Paid a visit here cost over £5 to park only 2 places open and the fish and chips were not the best
Â
He passed away in 2000 Jack, but was quite active up there running the gift shop and other bits and pieces.
First time I paid a visit was 2009 ish
So that's where the dead trains went after the Beeching cuts then Jack? 😀Â
