The gangs all here
As usual Sqn is first in, Bob.
At least we can post on here without wondering if it's going to reach anybody at all Steve.
🤣
Yes but 2 Para made it safe albeit hard to use
😀 😀 😀 That's because like me you were an AIPT Ian!
True Bob
I'm pleased they issued us with red and black pullovers Ian, if it had been red and black spots we would have looked like Ladybirds mate. Couldn't have lived with that!
🙂
Just so it doesn't confuse anybody these geezers a wearing red and blacks! Do they still wear them anybody know?

Bob, anytime you see PTI's these days, they're wearing skint tight vests mate.
Track suits in navy blue were worn a lot during the winter months. But daily activities certainly kept you warm Don. At the end of the day a mixture of tea leaves mixed with linseed oil was spread on the gym floor and the AIPTs used to place an upturned top off a vaulting horse filled with weights after being placed on an old blanket. Attach toggle ropes to it and gallop up and down the gym floor which made it shine like shite on a barn door. Old Des Browning the QMSI used to yell, keep going lads it's good for the blood. 🙄 🙄 🙄
Don, was Jock(John Phillips) still in the Sqn when you were in he was on the same AIPT Course as me in 1965. Jocks 3rd from the right middle row.

Don I'm sorry to hear that mate, John was a good lad and loved his football. He will be sorely missed by all. RIP buddy!
