Home made Broth with bags of lentils and veg boiled with a lamb shank, a bloody good tasty meal for all!

A big chunk of beef shin does it for me with the marrow from the bone giving a lovely thickness, and she doesn't like the meat so I get it all, nom nom nom!

Agreed! A friend of ours likes to go out for those poncey 8 course 'Taster' meals costing hundreds of quid and you come out feeling hungry after eating stupid looking things that have truffle and caviar sprinkled on them. She derided me once after I went to a restaurant and had sausage and mash, saying "You could've ate that at home!"

I replied "Yes but the difference between you and me is I go out to eat something I like, whereas you go out to eat something you want people to see you eating, and then moan about it when you get home!" 🙄
