Ope all guz ok Bob. am still waitin fer an appointment wi the NHS Mince Pie specialist n in the meantime lobbin drops in but when a do it,s like lookin thru frosted glass! 😎Â
Amazing Dave, in my twenties I could spot a mouse taking a shite at 100 yards. Now I couldn't hit a bulls arse with a shovel at two paces! 😞
Noticed mine deterioratin age about 50ish Bob while on the holy ghost. sixes looked like eights n sevens looked like nines etc. prior ta that 20/20 vision.
Same here,50's onwards and downwards! My distance sight is still fine and I can see and identify things from miles away before TLO has even spotted them, but reading or using the computer needs 2 different pairs of specs and anything at arms length using tools or knives etc requires glasses now if I want to keep my fingers!
No fun this aging thing, the kidney stones are growing back with a 13mm one and 2 smaller ones found during a scan last week, and had another scan on me nut on thursday to prepare to get the little bastard in there burned out at some stage soon. If I'd known what was coming I wouldn't have spent so much time hiding from bullets on Longdon! 😜 Â
Paid a visit to one of our members who lives in Aylsham he is 90 now (Mike Davies) spent most of his service with 3 Para

Very nice Jack, i thought they were building a new road. That must've been a fantastic area to live/work since the war, with the many airbases there.Â
Good one Jack, It's little wonder they chose that area and Lincolnshire to build airfields. Especially for the heavy bombers Lancasters,B17s and the like they needed a fair bit of runway for lift off.
We are being disrupted by the wind farm cables many fields have construction to accommodate cable equipment it will be interesting to see how they intend to hide every thingÂ
Ugly f
Don't think the RAF or USAAC would have appreciated them in WW2 Jack.
