Fandance this w/e was a great success.  Still waiting for the No's, but we reckon it's a biggish number towards the club's funds.  One (TV famous) bidder was asked to pay, he asked what he bid for, then how much it was?  No one was sure.  The he said "i'll give you a grand for it" and hasn't collected the items.

Since Sunday, we've already paid out £1200 to a man in hospital with heart problems.  He hasn't worked for a while and things were tight.  Hopefully we've relieved him and his family of pressure for a while.  Last thing a heart patient needs is stress from debt.

There were over 200 people at the top of the fan and we had fly overs from 3 aircraft, all owned by ex AB, one of whom is a member.

Here's a pic of Nick the Chairman and the club 'snake' behind.  I've added the minutes f the AGM.  If you can't open them let me know and i'll send  an email.

What? After outbidding me for the weather vane that TLO had demanded Billy didn't even have the decency to collect it! Bastard! The one I finally got was better suited to my purpose anyway, and TLO is still slavering over the selfie she took with him, so all's well that ends well! Sitting in Stranraer now after a fish supper killing time till the ferry takes us home, and just got a message that my house should be selling although for about 20 grand under what I wanted, anything for peace! 🤔

So rather than going home for a rest, you're going to have to shift tons of gear from your shed and flit too?

We're flitting anyway Don, probably end of august before it happens, but most of my stuff is in boxes and has been for a year or so since the last offer fell through so I'm not holding my breath. The sheds are stuffed to the doors with all the furniture and stuff from her house which sold a few months ago, so I can't get in anyway, and the move is only to the other side of the village so the fleet of trailers will be busy shifting it all!
