South Armagh/Fermanagh 1980/81 remember it well! By sheer coincidence he was originally from Carrowdore,a fact I only learned many years after I settled here when he came to visit his Dad. I'd been talking to his uncle Sammy for years without knowing there was a connection!

Setting off this evening for an epic trip in the van hoping to make it down to the south coast to show TLO my childhood haunts before heading up to Brecon,calling on Charlie Findlay on the way to drop something. After Fandance she wants to see Whitby for some reason before heading back to Cairnryan and home. Hope the rattly clutch release bearing holds up!!

Have a good one Pat. My daughter and her man are up at Whitby at the moment judging by the photo's the weather is cracking! And the fish and chips are great from what I remember up there!

Just reached Weymouth after a 12 hour journey and it's pissing down! I think she's starting to get pissed off with my rendition of "We're all going on a summer holiday"!

I do that every time we fly,every few minutes from before takeoff till we land. Pisses her off enormously but never loses it's funniness for me,childish bastard that I am. Off to Portland in a minute,when I can drag her out of her pit,to show her the house where I was born and the prison where Gary Glitter has spent the last few years,then off westward for Devon and Cornwall.
