One of my mates over here has been calling me MPB for years. It was a while before I asked him what it meant. "murdering Para Bastard" was his reply! I can live with that! 😎

No2 does me every couple of months as what I've got left doesn't grow that quickly any more. When it starts sticking up from the pillow in the morning I know it's time to go off to the bathroom with the spare mirror to see the back of my bonce. Noticing less and less falling into the sink each time, used to throw it in the back garden for the birds to make nests, but there's not enough to please a wren nowadays! 🙄

"HAT!" usually suffices when describing wingless soldiers.

At the Armed Forces Day last year on the local airfield there was a fat bastard in a RCT T shirt showing an old Bedford, and he said after spotting my shirt "I suppose in the old days you'd've called me a Hat?" My reply of "Still would ya fat Hat twat!" didn't seem to please him! 🤣
