Just thought these might bring back a few memories.Â
🤣
Can still get the owd Tony Curtis barnet style Bob minus the owd Brylcreme Dip. Av ta trim every fortneet ta stop lookin like Jimmi Hendrix! Sadly only thing that continues ta grow while everythin else shrinks! 😣Â
Your lucky Dave, still got a good head of hair mate.
Oreight but sometimes get fed up o cuttin it Bob. Do it mesen so if a mek a bollox grows back in a week, saves a fortune guin ta the barbers.
I bought some Whal hair cutters Dave, come with different comb sizes number two suits me, our lot say I look like a thug. Compliments eh?
One of my mates over here has been calling me MPB for years. It was a while before I asked him what it meant. "murdering Para Bastard" was his reply! I can live with that! 😎Â
The T shirt denotes tha did a thorough job Pat! On the barnet topic, a use a Whal No.3 on mi barnet n No. 1 on mi boo-at race.
No2 does me every couple of months as what I've got left doesn't grow that quickly any more. When it starts sticking up from the pillow in the morning I know it's time to go off to the bathroom with the spare mirror to see the back of my bonce. Noticing less and less falling into the sink each time, used to throw it in the back garden for the birds to make nests, but there's not enough to please a wren nowadays! 🙄Â
'Hat' or 'Craphat' deffo still in use. I always laugh when passing the depot of the Royal Irish near Ballymena that is next to a sign for Hatville a local village! 😆Â
😆
My kid's always used to say to me what does RD'd mean Dad, your always saying that!
"HAT!" usually suffices when describing wingless soldiers.
At the Armed Forces Day last year on the local airfield there was a fat bastard in a RCT T shirt showing an old Bedford, and he said after spotting my shirt "I suppose in the old days you'd've called me a Hat?" My reply of "Still would ya fat Hat twat!" didn't seem to please him! 🤣Â
Oughta gid im a verse of, "Who Ate All The Pies"! Pat 😆Â
