It's amazing what you can still pick up after all these years, I wonder some youngsters look at and say what was that for?

Although in the age of Tik Tok and other social sites, I doubt of they even think about it. Shame really when you consider the amount of aircrew who took off from there never to return.

Sad indeed!

P-51D Mustang ‘Janie’ was involved in a serious accident on the 2 October 2016 when she hit the ground near her home airfield of Hardwick. The pilot and owner Maurice Hammond was seriously injured and the passenger in his 80’s was sadly killed

Nice one Jack but thicko me thought it was coverage of the wartime Para Depot Hardwick Hall. Did a roofing job there in the late 70s when a retired wing commander was in charge of the joint and was a real twat! The job was re roofing a lean to flat roof garage where he kept his lovebird Mk10 Jag n wunt shift it while a wu z duin the job n kept comin ta check ta see if ad scratched it! While theer ad abutchers round the grounds weer mi owd man, father in law and an uncle did their wartime P Company training, Brill place wi a pond that when drained wuz full o bicycles dumped by the lads who,d pinched em when comin back from Chesterfield after a neet on the piss! One or two Jap sightseers theer az well wi their customary cameras tekkin pics o the main 15th century hall. On top o thre main building thiz big fukk off stone letters, "E S" which stands fer  " Elizabeth Of Shrewsbury" but when one o the japs came up n asked, "Wo S E mean a replied tekkin the piss "English Steel" laffed mi bollox off when eee sed "Aaa so" n wrote it down in iz note pad! 🤣

A bit windy today,  they are going to erect pylons from Norwich to London for the Hornsea 3 wind farm. Vale green was the scene of a murder a few years ago

Some moor structures ta blight the countryside Jack. Also ad a butchers at the geezer on about increaing punchin power by duin press ups. Bollox! Punching power comes from dip from the knees and jump into the strike, lethal by getting in close and striking with the point of your elbow. Saves braking the smaller bones of the german bands. Jump and strike into the midriff with the object of going thru the spine.

The perfect method for taking the wind out of somebody's sails. A nasty surprise for whoever is on the receiving end of it. Could never understand why it always seemed to be underated.

Knuckles a dodgy thing ta use anytime, elbows, heel of hand especially under the violin and a full foorce full bodyweight slap at the side of the lug really effective. Hence the reason boxers wear gloves and even so a good dig below the belt especially the family jewels will get thi dis qualified, good tactic to get out of there in one piece if thaz on the wrong end of as good twattin. Beats bein stretchered off!
