...the hardest job i've ever had. That pic was almost exactly 50yrs ago and i haven't changed a bit.
Can't help noticing the resemblance with L&P.
Juat bought a btl, £4.87 inc PnP here:
You can't whack a good bit of relish on the old pie and chips, Just don't drop it on your meat and two veg! 😀Â
If tha ever manages ta gerra a bottle Pat, get the one wi the red n white Blades label and keep away from that blue n white label Wendy shite!
I'll bear that in mind Dave! Off to Cambridge again tomorrow for the stepson's wedding on saturday and then off to Londonistan for a few days R+R, back next friday. Hardly likely to find the relish that far south I'm sure, but will enjoy our traditional visit to a Mexican restaurant in Fulham and a steak house up by Covent Garden all the same, nom nom nom!
Have a good time and enjoy theesen Pat but don,t eight n drink too much, but am sure tha will!! 🤪Â
That's what these things are for innit? I've lost nearly 2 stone over the last couple of months to allow for it anyway! See Y'awwwl in a week or so! 😎Â
Behave now Pat
I always behave Ian, just not necessarily the way people want or expect me to behave! That's me away in 5 mins for the big silver bird!😜Â
Enjoy yourself mate.
Bring uz a stick o rock back! 😛Â
That's me back from my week of debauchery, a couple of grand lighter and half a stone heavier no doubt! Couldn't help noticing the huge number of kids at least 4 or 5 yrs old being pushed around in pushchairs cos the parents are too lazy to hold their hands while they walk round Londonistan, and of course the lack of English being spoken all around us!

No wonder you're a couple of grand lighter Pat. My son was there last w/e, he was in Soho and was charged £25, for 1 pint, 1 G&T and a diet coke. Â
Â
what with traveling there how can you justify them costs. Hopefully they will stab themselves in the back. Pubs in my area are closing all the time I will be in the Bell hotel later and its £2.50 a pint (Weatherspoons)
Between 6 and 8 quid a pint in most of London and Cambridge now, when in Rome and all that!! Mostly drinking gin in London along with her, usually 23 quid or so for 2 with mixers! The only consolation was being able to zip around for free with my veterans oyster card and thumb my nose at Siddique Khan!
Nip into Weatherspoon's and get a free pint with your grub. Those Londistan prices are just extortionate !
