Totally agree mate, the twat had already injured two other coppers and broken a WPC's nose. So he needed to be taken down quick before he had a chance to grab a firearm off somebody. It's amazing how people are quick to condemn the people who are trying to keep them safe, and take the side of the perpetrator!
