Watched a Doco on BBC 4 last night

Dave Tompkins was a petty thief who craved adventure. His career as an international mercenary began in Africa and took him all over the world - to Afghanistan, Croatia and later to Colombia, where he led a team commissioned to assassinate notorious Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar. He went out with Callan and Copland to Angola he was the explosives guy in the team. While laying some mines he was injured by one going off. Got casavact  back to uk just before Callan executed some of his men. Peter McAleese featured. We had one guy in our squadron who was out there he told me that the only way he survived was to keep to SOP’s staying in the bush and no tracks/roads

Probably a wise move mate under the circumstances., what really gets my goat these days,is even after events like that and other atrocities committed by those murdering bastards. Their are still lawyers out there willing to look at our guys to penalise them for financial gain. Pity their not quick enough to do the same to them!

Trouble is Jack, the news never gets better mate, reckon the position is not a lot different from the early 1930s! And we all know where that led too!

One things for sure, the heathen twats breed like fukkin rabbits boosting their takeover tenfold, no fukkin wonder the NHS is totally fukked and a visit to an A&E emergency is like a day trip to fukkin Bongo Bongo Land! As a young un there wuz loads of WW1 veterans and obviusly our parents lived and served during WW11. Now they are almost gone I shudder to think what they would think of the present bag of shite now known as the UK and I even  remember at Skoyle celebratin summat called, "Empire Day" and it dint mean the local flea pit! Sadly uz owd twats o still alive to witness this wog takeover and the only bright side is that we wont be around much longer to personally witness the complete takeover of what was once "Englands Green And Pleasant Land!

It's all a bit to late now Jack, we've got the biggest invasion since the Normans mate. And the creation of ghettos certainly hasn't helped along with complacency from previous Governments. Who's attitude even now is bury your head in the sand, and try to forget it's actually happening.

Wonder what's happened to old Gene Hackman, found dead on his ranch along with his wife and dog, I thought it might have been down to carbon monoxide or something as they have ruled out foul play, so he wasn't attacked by chickens!.

No, they'd have to be wild chickens to attack, not domestic ones Dave! 😊

No doubt after autopsy the truth will out, it's a shame the guy was a good actor and I didn't realise he was in his nineties. Certainly looked well for his age!

He was one of those unique guys who could read a script for any  film he was taking part in,and naturally fall into the role. That's some talent. Sad loss!
