Nice one Jack and top weather as well!
Got held up going down there a young girl died on that bridge so we had to do a denture. On our way back on the A11 another RTA in Thetford more disruption
Â
No pleasure in driving these days Jack. What used to be a pleasure now a pain in the arse, I kicked off in 64 but my mince pies av packed up but don,t know wots more dangerous me being a passenger or the wife driving!
Sorry about that Dave I don't know how much longer I will be able to drive taking it a month at a time.
When the "Trouble" kept saying, "Careful! you nearly hit that car! I thought she was taking the piss!
Mine tells me all the time and she can't driveÂ
There's no pleasure in it anymore, I just keep a hold of mine because with the Ayathola's health problems I'm constantly running her up to the nearest emergency treatment center. All because you can't get an appointment at the local health center. It's not getting any better!
the car is handy get to places quicker than public transport
Not in Londonistan! Don't know why anyone would bother with a car there when you can get across the town on the underground in half the time, and for free if you have a veteran's Oyster card which that little twat Khan donated to us all!
we use the bus pass. Thanks to the congestion charge I don't drive to London always use the train. While in London I borrow my brothers oyster card just for for the tube
You criminal! Apply for a free one yourself!
don't often go there Pat got my bus pass
Only go a couple of times a year myself Jack but anything for free from the govt is a good thing and saves me hundreds on the tube!
not aware of that Pat
Look up veteran's Oyster card on T'internet Jack, maybe on the TFL (Transport For London) website. It gives free tube, bus and overground train travel all over London and a few other places quite far out from the city. Easy application process, lasts 3 or 5 yrs and automatically renews. Big saving if you do any amount of moving around the city as we do when we visit.
