I know the problem! Years ago when I came out of the village shop a bloke I know was pacing up and down outside his house looking worried. I asked what was the matter and heard "I'm waiting for Big McGill to come and shoot my horse"......"No problem" I replied, "I'll just nip back to the house and get my revolver!"......Seeing a more worried look on his face I asked him to repeat what he said......"I'm waiting for Big McGill to shoe my horse, but he's late and I'm due at a show with it today!" Good job he hadn't gone straight indoors or Sam the pony would've had his chips! Damn this deafness! 🤣Â
