Wonder if eee needs a new roof down theer Bob?
Looks like there will be a lot of roofing jobs in OZ Dave!
Thill gerra reight jack n jill fer travellin expenses Bob!
Bloody long flight over there Dave, by the time you get there you would to cream crackered to do owt !
Ad a mate who went o,er theer in the 60s az a 10 ackers Pom Bob, 6 weeks theer 6 weeks back, Only lasted a fortneet n sed,"FukkThat! sweepin up in a steelworks in the red hot sun, a can do that a lot moor comfortable at Firth Browns back in Sheffield!"
There was a lot went there on that £10 pound deal Dave, but there was a lot that came back as well. Guy I knew went out there as a moulder, couldn't get a job in the trade in the area where he was, but ended up erecting fences which apparently was poorly paid at the time. He put up with it for about 4 year until he got enough money together to get back home.
Funny really because a lot of people went out there, and made good lives for themselves. So it makes you wonder if the people who came home, had really made the effort!
It,s a massive decision to make Bob, not to be taken lightly, but for a tenner to tempt people was obviously to good to refuse for the easily lead. Fair play to those with stickability.
When Eleanor and me got married we bought a load of furniture from the local milkman who had decided to give Oz a go, he delivered it to our place with a horse and cart. Nobody blinked an eye in them days, there were still more horse and carts than furniture vans. As far as I know,he must have done okay, because he never came back!Â
I,ve known geezers who,ve come back Bob, seen the state of their homeland n fukked off back agee-an!
Well I can't blame them for that Dave, UK is certainly not the place as it used to be, No heavy industries to produce steel, coal, shipbuilding. Transport system knackered. More out of work than in it, and people having to use food banks to feed families, this and previous Governments should hang their heads in shame.
Most shud bi in the fukkin slammer Bob!
If we had done our jobs like some of those twats, we'd have been given your P45 at the end of the week Dave.
"Lick em n stick em time!
You have to chuckle at the logic, get all those on Universal Credit back to work if possible. Then we'll have a job shortage. Think again!
All major industries fukked off by the milk snatcher, so wot jobs?
