Hi guys
Quick update on a few things.
A. Brecon Fandance 15/16 May 2026.
1. A coach is once again booked for Brecon Fandance on the Saturday, further details to follow.
2. The cookhouse in Dering Lines will be providing food again, split curry and stew.
3. Please remember that we need your military memorabilia etc for our auction. Either bring items to Brecon or drop off in the Traf, marked “ BAFC Auction, FAO Thorny/ Dean”.
4. I am taking bookings for accommodation in Dering Lines, £10 for the weekend ( members only). Twenty guys are already booked in. Please message me direct if you want a bedspace.
5. We have aircraft booked for a fly past over the Fan, weather permitting.
6. P Company staff will once again be attending and will provide an update on P Company at the AGM.
7. Let’s try and get a record number on top of the Fan this year, in 2025 we hit the 200 mark!
B. Our Move To Charitable Status ( Charitable Incorporated Organisation)
1. Under the guidance of our incoming Treasurer, Allan Durning we are moving at speed to get the relevant paperwork etc completed. The intention is to make our submission to the Charity Commission on the Monday after Fandance, pending a successful vote at the AGM on Saturday 16th May.
