I haven't the heart to tell my heat loving wife that the last scuttle of coal will be going in the Rayburn tomorrow and she'll have to shiver for 10 days or so before the St Lucia trip! Buggered if I'm ordering any more at this time of year or she'll have it lit through the summer! She'll be in her element when she shuffles off to Old Nick's residence downstairs which is where she's surely headed!

Aint used any coyle on the Jeremiah this winter Pat just central heating only when needed. Suits me but "Trouble" wearin moor skins than a fukkin banana, so bought er an electric blanket to eez the pain. Not keen on my generous offer of "Come ere! al get thi fukkin warm!"

Mine's sitting across the room wrapped in a fleecy blanket on top of her 3 layers of clothes and her feet in a electric foot warmer thingy while I'm sat in a T shirt! My next job is to fill her 2 hot water bottles for bed. Everyone who comes in the house comments on how warm it is while she huddles under her blanket whining about being freezing,and after moaning all winter about the dark afternoons made me shut the blinds at 4 o clock cos she said it was too light! No pleasing the f.ckers!!!

Pat, that sounds like my wife before i put her through my acclimatisation program. TLO is clearly not co-operating mate. I am continually checking the thermostat to make sure my daughter hasn't sneaked the heating on. She is of similar ilk to TLO, as is my SiL in Aus. The temp is reading 23.5C, i am sat here with two fans on me and the blackout curtains closed as the sun is quite strong today and i am sweating my bollock off. When my SiL is here, there is no temp to high for her, just as well she's going to hell.

When I come in from outside my specs steam up and you can feel the heat from the central heating, the Ayatollah is sat with a Furry dressing gown on moaning that it's cold. The Central Heating is set on 18 that must be warm enough for anyone surely ?

The leccy's off all day today so I came home from a hospital appointment to find her huddled in her dressing gown and blanket whining about her lack of a foot warmer! The sun is splitting the sky and the heat coming off the Rayburn in the kitchen has the room at about 20 degrees,plenty for any normal being! She wants me to go and start the generator so she can warm her feet.
Good news is that the docs want to burn the wee beastie out of my swede with a one off burst of radiation or something later on this year,so that should be the end of having to get stuck in the MRI tube for hours every year at least!

Sounds a bit technical that Pat. Ope tha guz on oreight. Only prob av gorrat present iz tharrav fukked mi left showder rotater cuff agee-an diggin a big fukk off tree root out in the gardian. Can,t lift mi left desert farm higher than wankin position, thank fukk! NHS? al bi fried bread befoor thi can see ta mi n private costs 6k so looks like bein the one arm man outa the "Fugitive" fer the forseeable future!
