When were you there PD ? Thats only about 30 mile from my old Manor. Matter of fact if I tabbed the River Tame that flowed past my drum at Bescot Station. That's where I would end up. I think its where it flows into the Trent ?

Would'nt mind tabbing Hadrians Wall either. Beach to beach. Ten mile a day would take 9 days. A maggot and a Tommy Cooker. Few rations.

An old 9 Sqn lad called Ben Guest was on that suez lob Richard, remember talking to Ben one night on guard about it, funny spent his full term in the mob as a Tom. He'd been asked on several occassions to accept promotion and never did. Remember him saying. If your happy, why would you want to change it. Another good reliable bloke who would rather do anybody a good turn rather than a bad one. The sort of bloke you listen to and respect.

Best starting point is Heddon On The Wall Tone as it actually starts at South Shields where a fortified Roman Storage Warehouse has quite recently been unearthed. Then on to Newcastle weer if tha stops fer a neet out thi journey will probably come to an end after some scantily clad Geordie vixen will capture thi n proceed ta fukk thi ta dee-ath! Play it safe n start at Heddon, much safer avin the sheep ta comfort thi!

Count me in to that. Did some tabbin along part of the Wall after a fortnight at Otterburn. Can't remember any details but I will ask an old pal who was there with me.

Its just happened here in Arizona. They shot the mama Mountain Lion and her two Cubs that did the dining. Bastards.
