Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.
.........................................................................................................................The 10 Miler will be held on w/e Saturday 23rd November 2024........................................................................................

Can you imagine some of the drama that has visited that wall from the Jocks.
The screaming ....slashing ....clubbing...cutting ....hacking. I bet it was the worst posting in The Roman Army.
"Ayup Septimus....here they come again"....
..."i'm sure i killed that kuunt yesterday".
"We're surrounded on all sides... Good... you're obviously in the right place".
Count me in to that. Did some tabbin along part of the Wall after a fortnight at Otterburn. Can't remember any details but I will ask an old pal who was there with me.

Jim; I've always used Stihls and been quite happy with them. An 070 with a 30 inch bar for all round use, and for climbing work, an 020. Since I retired (ha ha) I got myself a Husky for doing small jobs. The Grandson in the avatar is using a plastic replica! He's got more sense now than to become a penniless knackered old Treeman when he grows up.

Got one of those 372XP's myself Jim,and a small Husky with a 18" bar that I rescued back from Mick after he 'borrowed' it for about 15 yrs, they're hard to beat!
Lobbed a 30' tree down in mi daughters garden with a hand saw, med sure I was lashed on and the ladders were also lashed on before I ventured up. Okay til I got down to the stump, and 3' diameter, took a couple of days to get through. 1 Para bred them differently-f***in thick or what!
Did the same with a cherry a few years back Ron, wasn't as tall as that mind. took it down in stages with a bow saw. Hollowed out the stump drilled a couple of drainage holes in it and made a good plant pot. Somebody told me it was diseased, so not knowing any different I took it down.

3' stump, hope you left it about 3' high as a garden table?

Well it was deceased by the time you'd finished with it!

Yes and it meks a good bird table, but sprouts new growth like f**k! She wanted artificial turf down, refused to do it on the grounds that all life underneath would be kaput
