Just read that John, yes I can see why a lot of youngsters would disagree with it, it means they would have to do as somebody else told them, unable to glare transfixed to a mobile phone while walking about reading inane comments by some other cretin on Face Book, unable to lounge about instead of seeking some job to enable them to contribute to the household in which they reside, Having to communicate to others by voice instead of Computers, Phones, tablets, And the thought of having to do physical activity, and serve your Country instead of it serving you. Must be to terrible for them to contemplate.
Am I being sarcastic, yes I am. I don't think for one moment that all youngsters fall into the above slot, there are some good kids out there. But there are a lot more, who need to recognise that the world does not revolve around them. And National Service would be a bloody good teacher of the facts of life !
