Things that Piss you off! Listening to the car radio which reached an advert, at the end of the advert the twat ended up rattling off what can only be described as the small print at such a rapid rate you couldn't make head nor tale of it! It's bad enough struggling to read the small print on footnotes, without some moronic cretin trying to read them at a rapid rate of fire similar to a runaway Gimpy! It's Life Jim, but not as we know it!

Re: Things that piss you Off!
Mine's mostly a hiss that the radio covers, and sometimes a flock of birds tweeting in my head, especially at bedtime when reading tends to take my mind off it till I'm tired enough to sleep. TLO comments on how she's amazed that I can just put the book down roll over and be asleep within moments. I've told her it's a learned skill from all the years of grabbing a few minutes whenever it was availlable, whether on the floor or in the back of a Bedford, plane or wherever we happened to be. Usually wake about 3am and lay for a couple of hours before sleep comes again, listening to the birds in my head till I drop off again.

Used to be able to get the wax syringed out of your lugs at the Doctors at one time, another thing of the past. They won't do it now, if you want your lugs done it will cost you £35.00 a lug and they use some kind of suction system. What happened to the NHS? I mean you need to be able to hear properly in order to communicate FFS!Bob (geordie) Watts

Pat, for me it's a hairpin, pen cover, toothpick, pencil, or any other sharp object when it itches.
Bob, you ask "...what happened to the NHS...", GP's are actually private businesses, that's why they can charge. You should contact your health board and ask if there's any NHS clinics in the area that could do it."We're surrounded on all sides... Good... you're obviously in the right place".
