Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

There were some hard old lads used to work down there, big Marco was a Yugoslav who hated the Germans with a vengeance. Worked alongside him for a few years, we had been talking about how the Germans treated people during the occupation one day. The next day he brought a wire cheese cutter in and said, I never kill cheese, only German!
Hi Dave, Just received the two books about Aden ths morning, Thanks mate, they will keep me occupied while I'm recovering from the hernia jobby. Always remember landing in Kormaska on our way to Kenya. went to the cookhouse for some grub and was given a curry! I sweated my boll0ocks off !
Someone told me this one is good, Bob. The Broken Detective. Crime/thriller set in London's East End in the 1960s.
...In prison there are leaders and there are followers, and then there are the men who cry themselves to sleep and wake up hoping it was all a bad dream. Some thought they were hard men in the outside world, but once inside realised they weren’t so tough after all. Some take to prison life like a duck to water, and some are crushed and never the same again. Frank Carlson had survived on the East End streets for the last decade, and to him, prison meant a warm bed and three meals a day. He had decided that he could get through the next few years by using the same skills that served him well on the streets: lies and manipulation...
I was told that the best way to do your time, was just get on and accept it. And if any bastard try's to fukk you about, stick one on him quick time! It seems to make sense to me, but will it work in reality I don't know!
Thanks Dave, they look to be a good read mate, I'm just finihing that one you sent about Sicily mate. Now that is edge of the seat stuff, it was all down to the poor bloody infantry to winkle the Germans out of their fortified positions. The Italians were just ready to fling the towel in anyway, but the German Paras and the HG Division were a different kettle of fish. It was a good job really that we destroyed their air power on the Island, and gained air control or it might well have turned out very Different.
Spot on theer Bob, worrever we say about the boxheads, they cud certainly feight. I once worked with a vereran who fought at Monte Casino and he said that the German Paras fought to the bitter end. even after heavy bombing and heavy artillery barrages they would keep popping up from the rubble and returning fire. Closer to home it was a boxee-ad mortar fired by German Paras that twatted mi owd man in Tunisia.
