Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

I was saddened to hear the news on Roy Knox. I was informed by Kev Keegan (Ex 1 Para) that two people were at his funeral, his daughter and son in law.
Roy was a character from that old mold of Paratroopers,’ that are unfortunately passing way too regularly these days. Other than my first meeting in the Deport, and the occasional ‘bump-into’ I never really knew him. I do remember many not having a good world for him, but I always put that down to him being one of those crusty old QM’s that comes through the ranks and, appear of the surface unapproachable, until you get to know them. He always treated me with respect right from our first meeting, and I found him to be a warm and kind man.
I liked Roy Knox, he was one of those long service officers who cared, and he took time to talk to people and was genuinely interested in people’s welfare. Equally, he suffered fools lightly, like many of that ilk!
