Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

Alan - you have fought as brave a fight as any man could - Kirsti has shown immense fortitude in supporting you throughout your long battle and your memory will never fade from the wonderful children you have loved and cared for in this world, it is time for you to watch over them from a place of serenity and peace, rest easy Alan - gone too soon my friend.
I just don't understand why they won't shut the hell up while I practice my people skills....
got an e-mail from tone first light this morning informing us about alans passing and the pain that kirsti is in. like others our heart goes out to kirsti and family. wee mary and i send our condolences to kirsti and pray GOD gives her and family the strength to keep going. rest in peace alan.
I got to talk to her at about 3.30 this morning. She is doing the best that she can under the circumstances. She gave me permission to put one of her emails from last week on the site which I will do, after running it past the head shed, on another page because it has her email address on it. Its a brave young lass we are talking here guys. She was on her own with two little kids.... and Alan. Doing her best. If you get to read this Kirsti there are a lot of people thinking about you right at this moment. Keep you chin up lass.

I knew like everyone that we would have to be ready for this news but it still shocks us all the core, such a n intelligent & Airborne man passing away in such a brave & couragous way is an inspiration to us all to keep on trying to help each other, that is what Alan would want.
Kirsti & their two lovely children now have to face the future without Alan, but we as a club & as Alans brother can help by making sure that we all keep in touch, anyone who served with Alan should especialy put together emails that explain the life of Alan when he was in the Regiment, those emails can then be kept by Kirsti so that their children can know some more of the man that their father was.
R.I.P. Alan, my sinceere condolences to your beautiful & brave family.

Nice one Smokey, we intend to do just that, my wife is Swedish as is Kirsti. They get along very well, which can only be a good thing.
The poor lass is not going to find it easy to cope on her own, so anything we can do to help I'm sure will be greatly appreciated.
