Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

So sad to report the passing of Jim Walmsley after a short illness. Jim was a terrific Pl Sgt in D Coy 1 Para and one of the original Red Devils' a terrific coach and mentor to many of us as young lads, he will be sadly missed.
Pictured with Jackie Smith and Scotty at a team reunion.
I worked with Jim a few times during our careers, he was a good man, never gave up on what he was doing, and never to proud to lend a helping hand to others in need or distress. He will be missed, and I will miss him, rest well mate, you deserve it.
I considered Jim to be a mate. Knew him when he first joined 1 Para (I think it was anti-tanks but probably be corrected). Always a steady bloke with a great sense of humour. I was asking about him a few months ago to see if anyone knew of his whereabouts, he had a strong Scouse accent and I wondered if he had settled around Liverpool. Jim left an impression, as a Tom on exercises he was always willing to give a lift to the guys who were tabbing with heavy loads. Truly sorry to hear of his passing before seeing him again. It is odd how for some reason former mates come to mind and suddenly you learn that they have passed on. Went down West country with him and others to 'sell' the Paras, got rat arsed on scrumpy, our behaviour was so atrocious young civvy blokes were fighting to join. Condolences to his family and friends. Goodbye Jim. Wig
