Browsing and posting on here and other, I normally go to youtube and play
tunes to set the mood, and they certainly do not have the music as good as we had way back then.
When in JPC my family were in Aden. Was on my own except for PSI's
Then this came on, ok get the tissues
But one has to realise that from the age of 3 up-to the age of 15 yr old, I had seen things
that a kid should not have seen, and its crystal clear. it was a war.
Did it effect me later on in years? yes it did.
I was not brought up with family and friends around, only my parents. So when joining up
the only mates I had were in service. The school in Malaya was just that, a school.

Some gud uns theer John! Don,t mek em like that any moor do they? Can,t understand all the fuss med about that screetching Ada fat tash Adele these days, sounds like some kunt strangling a fukkin cat!
When tha thinks back to Connie Francis, Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Brits Helen Shapiro and me favourite Dusty Springboard, the fat kunt aint fit to clean the skid marks off their clouts!

So true Dave.
When I was in Sydney, they used to have open air shows, brilliant at times including the BG's etc.
But the audience had no problem in booing some off the stage if they were crap.
One that I can remember was Johnny Farnham. As well as some others big names. If they sung live and it was crap the audience let them know.
No f***g about with the Aussies at that time.

Going for a few scooners then down to the TAB, then to the RSL club. you coming with us John?
