I have always set myself a very low standard, and constantly fail to achieve it.

I see 3 hooligans in that pic. A lot of those guys went to 2Tp in 73.

well spotted Tone, for some reason I'm the only one not looking at the camera, must have spotted a bowl of trifle to the left.

it's from latest AEA journal Don, there's a bit of a write up says there are 4 hooligans, also says one in picture continued his service "at her majesty's pleasure", certainly not me.

Taken after I left, but recognise some ugly mugs in that lot. Poor old Mick Pucky killed when a ferret turned over on Salisbury Plain, trapping the poor sod. Remember old Mick a few years earlier when he was courting some big waitress in the Crookham Crossroads cafe, mick was sitting with me and Gurney Fisher. When an old guy who was operating a stop,go sign for some roadworks popped in for his tea and sat at our table, the big girl served him, and when she went away the old boy said, feck me reminds me of a wart hog I saw in India. The look on Micks face was a treat to see, and we just burst out laughing, but never let on to the old boy what we were really laughing about ! As they say every picture tells a story! RIP Mick.

Recognise the 4th now Steve, he was badly injured in a smash. Wonder who were commisioned? I know Pete Kershaw, Pete Ellis and Dave Rutter were, last i saw Paddy L in 1990, he was a hooligan WO2 i think.

Stick it on the Sqn fudbook page Steve.

Obviously there was talk of me being commissioned but I said "no I want to stay with the lads and give them the benefit of my experience" that's just the kind of great bloke I am.

I was told Paddy Smythe reached WO2, bumped into him at Pam Fishers funeral. And found out after all these years that his first name was Bob, everybody else was surprised as he was always known as Paddy !
