This is another worrying aspect of TTIP.

Their "Prison shake-up" could leave us with a system like the US. Totally privatised, and people being locked up for seemingly trivial offences, just to guarantee a high occupancy rate. The corporations, that own/run the prisons then 'rent' the prisoners labour out and make fortunes off of them. They also make money for receiving and holding prisoners cash and other charges e.g. phone calls.

Some judges have been caught receiving bungs for jailing people. That's why the US has the worlds highest prison population.

don here in the KALIFORNIA republic we are letting drug dealers and felons out due to overcrowding and that has led to major increase in crime in places like las vegas and casinos where older people are being robbed and worse.... again left wing dingbats like barbara boxer,diane feinstein and gov jerry brown check out what is happening in san francisco the news is full of shiitte
