Who was that geezer who tried to fly using bird feathers and fell to his death when the butter holding the wings together melted cause he flew too near to the Sun? Wasn't he in 3 Troop as well Don?

His name was Daedelus....and he few too near the sun trying to escape an Agean island. (Can't remember which). So the wax holding his feathers on melted and down he went.

Damacleese and the lion... Sommat about a thorn in his foot and the lion pulled it out... They became best buddies... As a story goes, bit too far fetched for me. I prefer stories like Alice in Wonderland etc. much more believable

I saw that incredibly talented young geezer "Dynamo" on the gogglebox fly across a room with no wings, and it was a voluntary take off. Unlike several occasions when I have bin launched unwillingly through Fire Exit doors by bouncers in days of yore.

- Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion. The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit. He will also toast The Fallen. If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place. As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year. Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.
