Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.
.........................................................................................................................The 10 Miler will be held on w/e Saturday 23rd November 2024........................................................................................
Watched a program last night where, because of the supermarkets tons of carrots and parsnips were ploughed back into the ground. They weren't pretty enough.
"We're surrounded on all sides... Good... you're obviously in the right place".
Sad ennit Don. All the families and seniors on fixed income that could have benefited from that. Then again I suppose nobody would buy the pretty ones if the ugly ones was up for grabs.

was up at brandon and the bend area oregon a few months back a beautiful area tone well worth the trip. if you go behind any supermarket around CA you will see large food bins classed as not fit for human consumption cos it is out of date. braised fruit and veg, bread, cakes etc. as kids in scotland i remember my dad cutting the blue mold of cheese and toasting a week old bread.
All them weird shaped old veg, taste exactly the same as the cosmeticly appealing ones. When there all chopped and chucked in a pot with an old ham shank they make a bloody good broth. It's all these supermarkets that buggered it up, when people bought stuff from the greengrocer or grew their own they didn't mind washing a bit of muck off a queer looking parsnip . But now if it's not packed in a plastic bag and ready to use some folk don't want to know. Silly buggers !
Billy ....When I was a kid in the fifties my best mates dad used to keep pigs in the back garden of a council house built in/of the old air raid shelter.
When it was pig stickin' time we kids used to sit on the sty wall and watch them kill them, bleed them into a bucket for the black pudding, and butcher them on the back fold and NOTHING went to waste except the hair and the squealing. Even the eyes was kept for the dogs.
There is so much food about today people are spoiled ter fook by it. Stale cakes. Who did not lurve stale eccles and lardy cakes.... half price.

Back in the 80's I used to listen to radio Moscow, and every day they would announce the ton's of food the West was dumping
in the sea. Tomato's and the like. Of course no one would believe it, because it was communist Radio Moscow, but I did.........idiots.

What pisses me off these days, is their dumping perfectly good food rather than give it away. Yet their are some poor buggers going to food banks to make ends meet because even when working they can't earn enough to pay their way. And twats like Edwina Currie, spouting sheer crap like "there is no reason for anyone in this day and age to use a food bank" and Osborne "we're all in this together" there is not one of them that's had to go hungry or wonder were the money's coming from to pay the bills. Equal opportunities , Bollocks they want try stepping into some of these people's shoes for a week, and see what the real world is really like.

But then they will not be able to keep the prices sky high, and would effect their dividends and shares, and of course their Christmas bonuses.
