Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

Pat I would imagine Thetford is very nice.....if you ain't a soldier. Same with the Brecon Beacons, I bet the place is quite tranquilising in a cold three day rain storm. Tucked up in some little hillside cottage with your feet by the fire....... sipping your cocoa. Instead of being outside, sleep deprived, piss wet through, on a windswept slope, with horizontal rain smacking you in the chops, trying to get away from it all. Trying to cleave shelter in a hole, like a mole and wishing that lying cnut in the recruiting office an indescribably 'orrible death.

Tone - Any recruiting officer involved in your entrapment into a life of adventure has long ago thrown his mortal coil I am sure......
I just don't understand why they won't shut the hell up while I practice my people skills....

It wasn't so much as a holiday for us though Tony, although we managed a few nights in the town with the Yanks over from Nam. Not many times as some though, as we had duties on the boarder.
We were mostly on the boarder for a few weeks duty 4hrs on 4 hrs off, continues for 4 weeks.
Can you imagine that? Within the 4 hrs off we had to keep our kit completely bulled up.
Also on other parts of the boarder where supplies could only be reached by the RASC Donkey Plt, and for a couple of weeks all we had to eat was Hardtack and cheese processed.
Not all fun and games for us hey, but some had to do the hard work?
