Lee Qwan Yu, what a great prime minister he was, I'm sure he was in power longer than any other.Originally posted by tudor View PostI'd love to go back and see it now - Lee Qwan Yu did a damn good job there ( at that time ) hope it's just as good...?
If it weren't for him, the British would not have lasted in Singapore like we did.
Will have to check up and see when he stopped being PM.
I tell you what though, he knocks spots of any we had and have in this Country.
Ah yes Bob, but you can't get a special, and playing 'o' and 'x' with them kids, who always won.Originally posted by bob9739 View PostYou can buy it in Tesco's, mind don't know if it's the same stuff !

Re: Old Singapore
I saw him a couple or so times Mal, he used to drive an ordinary car, and used to shop around the harmes (spell) market, a peoples man.Originally posted by Mal Reid View PostMet the man once. I was introduced to him by my father. I was 5 years old. Him and my Dad played golf together
I think that's why he lasted so long, the people loved him.Non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam
