Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

Abingdon 66 Alan,gerrin on our chalk,that old beauty,the Blackburn Beverley,HAPPY DAYS!
It always bugged me that I was so much of a sprog that I missed both the C47 and the Beverley Managed the Argosy, which I thought was abetter (more civilized) aircraft than the C130. Even a few from the Andover. The Beverley would have been great. Some of the old sweats I remember talking about the Hastings
Loved going out of the Boom aperture of the Beverley. Like sitting in an armchair. Hated Hastings as I got a strop burn going out of them and did a couple of rivet inspections on exiting. The Argosy was great. Allowed to smoke in them. Just a run out of the door too.
Did my wings in the c130 but then they were withdrawn cos of all the rivet inspections and we went back to Argosy's and then I did the trials in Cyprus on the adapted C130's.

What year was that? Does anyone remember the sgt and the sprog that got entwinned coming out of a Hurc? I think it was due to the sgt -punching - out of the Hurc, as in Argosy exit. Getting blown under the aircraft and both chutes wrapping around each other. Both of them died if I remember rightly.....
been awhile since i heard the word "nookey" if i can only remember what it means on yer avatar it is aussie nick what about jock nicholson just interested mate
Billy there were a few Nicks in 3 Para. Still are on the 3 Para site. so to differentiate used aussie nick however here in Oz I was called "Jock" or "Nicho"
I was back there in 2006, saw some of the marker pegs stating here is where seat number .... was found. which really meant the body. The plane actually started to break up and was spread across the country from Newcastle. Visited the wall of rememberance at Dryfesdale Cemetery, very touching.
