Re: C 47 Spooky jump 19th May
Looks great.
Health and Safety have got everywhere though. A safety plane to help if your chute doesn't work?
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
You have enemies? Good. That means youve stood up for something, sometime in your life."

Re: C 47 Spooky jump 19th May
thats me stood up during takeoff looking half asleep, Barry in the first pic, and both of us caught not posing on the ground........... There were three lifts of 25, just on the max as this C47 has upgraded engines. 1st lift went out as a 5 stick as they had lots of video pepole filming as this is the new "invasion rig" for the SET 10. then all remainder out, next two lifts all out at once great day and great people

Re: C 47 Spooky jump 19th May
Sorry for delay. Thanks for the info Neil. My fingers are itching. All american kit of course. I only managed the PX and a few with a Para Commander. Really liked jumping (why I joined). Every buckshee one that was going, I was usually there. Blokes thought I was mad. Nothing like -swishing- through the air in the half dark. Maybe some lights off in the distance. Pulling down on just one strap till you got just a load of rigging in your hands and trying to stear towards the -A-. A mucker silently passing by within a foot or so and then him giving you a mouthfull. One second to assume the possition after you kit had hit the deck and then rolling over pissin yourself laughing. Couldnīt stop laughing when Iīd landed, it was so brill, especially the night drops. Sometimes I wish Iīd stayed in longer. HALO would have been the ultimate... but still never mindAttached Files

Not quite sure how old you are mate but take it easy. Small doses but every day if you can. We ainīt as young as we were (apart from Ian apparently). You can pull a muscle or a tendon very easily. Before I got ill I could jog 5 km in 25 mins which isnīt bad for a nearly 60 year old. 20 push ups every evening before I did my teeth. Gym once a week. 178 cm and 75 kg. See if I can get back to it.....
