Re: DIGGING UP MAUREEN
Details should be on tinternet Tone, be about 5/6 years ago when this geezer asked a farmer in Staffordshire if he could go hurdy gurdy swingin on one of his fields reight next to a busy road. Farmer gave him the thumbs up, but told him that he,d find f.ck all cos it had bin hurdy gurdied to f.ckin death in the past.
Within an hour he gets the "sweet" sound and digs up a piece of gold, then goes on to dig up loads more, reports his find to the farmer then f.cks off home in a state of shock. Reports what he,s found to the "finds" dept of the local museum and they do a big f.ck off dig of the site where they found loads more. The most beautiful Anglo Saxon craftsmanship you could wish to see, jewelled encrusted pure gold artifacts, most that had adorned weapons of the day and they reckon were the booty from some battle between tribes. One things for sure, historians are having to re think this period of history as being labelled as the "Dark Ages". Who sez that us thick c.nts don,t contribute to the knowledge of mankind?
Geezer and the farmer shared 5 million smackers between em, not a bad day out eh!
