  • 3 Para Malaya early 70's

An oldie from the early 70's, just got back in touch with the lad on the left Freddie Elliott after 31 years, he is a Sgt with the Correctional Services in Texas and spends every weekend free-falling, what a life.

We were the first to use Moscow camp in 72 (operation motorman) and we had a reunion (C coy 1 Para) about 6 years ago and we stayed there and they pulled it down just after we left so we first in and last out.

Aye lad he did but I don't think it were his father either Pat. The lad on the left I think is named Jock Carson by the way.

Had a four hour Sype video chat with Fred last night, he was 385 Plt, he is sending me some 3 Para Sigs Plt and C Coy pictures from 72-78 which I'll put on as soon as I get them.
