Can anyone explain what has happened to the Old Aldershot thread with all them photo's that I put up, that were posted only a few weeks ago?

Also of course,a sign of the onset of Alzheimers,when all sense of time has gone,remembering 50 yrs ago like yesterday,but not aware of yesterday!

no incoming taff, if you want to make hurtful comments, that is your perogative, personally i shall carry on being the nice, saintly person i am, as i have always thought that if i can't find something nice to say about someone, i'd rather say nothing, that's just the sort of person i am, it's probably just those 9 Sqn values of decency and kindness that were instilled in me. I have often been called the Mother Teresa of 9 Sqn because of my saintliness and who am i to disagree.

I heard 9 Squadron was the epicentre for insubordination crime and general villainy in the Royal Engineers. No kidding.
Went to a Commonwealth Club and a bloke with an Engineers badge on his blazer actually told me that.

Was he ever LOL. He told me he had "doings" with 9 Sqd in the 'shot and they beasted him non stop for a week.
He said he was fookin terrified the whole week. He also added he never, in all his six in the Army, met blokes like them.
What do you do to them poor Hat Engineers ? I will report you blokes to the RSPOCH.

It was a long time ago Steve, in the nineties, so your rep is safe mate.
Thinking about it it must have been in Church Crookham because he was older than me.
He/they must have been on some course or other. Did you start in Church Crookham ?
Maybe you woz the one who kept getting drunk and tipping out of bed
That was his main beef if I remember right.
