Every jump we did both home and abroad from aircraft only, the warning of court martial was given should you refuse to jump.

I seem to remember a batallion drop into Oman I guess in the 80's where someone (on a different aircraft to me) refused - got pushed up the tail of the Herc - not sure what badge he was - never heard of or about the individual again - kit packed and gone from the scene by the time we got back from the exercise - not sure if the Court Martial happened. Anyone else remember that one? We took off from Meseira?
I just don't understand why they won't shut the hell up while I practice my people skills....

Green light constitued an indirect order. Balloon and Chopper, the order was direct from the dispatcher! Hence failing to obey an indirect order or Direct order. either way you got done.

I remember 2 refusals in front of me (literally). One in JPC 1964 Abingdon, and another Abingdon (can't remember date).
Another (Sgt with funny cap badge) who froze mid flight from balloon (not the weather Steve). Again another refresher Abingdon.
I also know someone i jumped with, no reserve into Jebal Ali or could have been Salala, can't remember as we were jumping all over the M/E at the time.

One of 320 jacked on his twelfth. He was in C Coy 3 Para at the time I think. He said every one got worse and worse. If he was scared at Abingdon I never saw it and he was a good mate.... but that what he did. Refused.

All this may well have been said but i was so hyped up i wasn't hearing anything.
I have always set myself a very low standard, and constantly fail to achieve it.
