      I'm not going to live that one down for a while!

      It's actually quite discomforting to see WW1 in colour, isn't it? Did anyone see that extraordinary documentary involving police lip-readers working out what soldiers in silent WW1 newsreel and Hitler & Co in those equally silent home movies at the Berghof were saying?

        great photos of the war to end wars yeah right and to build a land fit for heros yeah right. i guess we all cannot remember as far back in our minds on average 25 or 30 years cos we keep doing it again and again. we go to war usually we win the war and spend billions rebuilding the nations we fought with frakkin nuts.

            Thats what i was thinking. It is strange to see them in colour. i had no idea the French Uniform was pale blue like that.

            I thought they were grey and officers dark blue like our No 1's.

              The thing that allways amazes me about the" War to end all Wars" is that there was another one a couple of decades later.
