Doesn't seem to have done his chances any harm?

        Re: Trump's vaccination...

If true looks exactly like the Tory (366?) and Labour (178?) numbers at our last general election. Seems portraying Boris like Trump (Right wing) and Corbyn like Biden Left wing) As here there may be a shock result. I have no political leanings either way on our own heaps of shit, let alone the US

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Donald managed to lie and cheat his way to another four years.
I have always set myself a very low standard, and constantly fail to achieve it.

Donald won last time because the other option was Hilary Clinton. She's far far nastier, so the US voters, some, no doubt regretfully, voted for Donald.
Decent people don't go in for politics, unfortunately. occasionally, some idealist will have a go, but they quickly get torn to shreds by the other kind. It's the same at all levels, from national, to county councils, down to parish councils. I'm sure many on this site will be able to agree with this from personal experience. Politicians are a horrible bunch, we all know it, so we end up voting for what we consider the least worst option, and shake our heads in amazement that anyone can bring themselves for the other bunch, but someone always does. All I can say is, that every country that allows proper voting has this problem, but as Joe Stalin said, what really matters is who gets to count the votes.

The only sensible way to vote, whether it's here or there, is to look at what they have achieved so far in their position of power. Then ask yourself, do you think their worth voting for or not. Or is that to simple.

Too right Jim, a vote for Corbyn would have got Diane Abbott and some other truly unsavoury characters into genuinely important jobs. These people are dangerous.

I think Corbyn would have sorted the virus, he has already broken the law during lockdown and his brother (Piers) obviously got a loan of the family brain cell for a few hours and has been arrested several times (and fined) for breaking restriction rules. Corbyn would have made Piers the secretary of state for health, Diane Abbott would have used our 3 landing craft to bring immigrants over, job sorted, missed opportunity!
