Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.

The thing that concerns me is one Russian or Chink missile could put an end to the adventure...... toot sweet.
I was on the bridge of a big Yank Aircraft Carrier moored in San Diego with an ex 1Para bloke now in Canada and I thought one missile through this window and this whole thing is out of whack. Just a floating island of scrap. Like at Midway with those three Jap carriers were put away by a couple of dozen Douglas Dive bombers.... and vice versa with the Yorktown and the Mitsubishi Zero.
Well look at the Sheffield. one Argie pilot thought he had latched on to the Brit Carrier with a Frog missile. If he had have, the Carrier would now be sleeping with the fishes.

When the George WH Bush was off the Solent last month its Admiral said it was absolutely good news that the UK has built HMS Queen Elizabeth and her sister ship as it will help the USA as its fleet of carriers and crews had done a lot of sea time over the last 10-20 years and are in need of help sustaining a presence around the world. It looks like it will be armed and crewed by the Royal Navy and the flyers and aircraft will be Yanks and Brits.
