Those Russian Lines are pretty straight mate. Do you reckon they are Unit Drill Teams, or just their average blokes.

There is an American General here who reckons they could over run NATO in sixty hours flat.
That they can put 150 000 elite spearhead troops, Airborne and whatnot, into the field in 24 HRS
which would leave NATO with only the grim option of Battlefield size Nuclear Weapons.
One of their options is to out SAM us, and out Surface to Surface us, and obliterate our air cover and air defences, after enticing the Brigades we have in the theatre forward, and then lob wave after wave of Paras behind them as they advance. Forcing NATO forces to fight back to back. A tactic they learned from the Germans in 41 with Panzer Blitkrieg.

Our life expectancy during the cold war was 12 hrs whilst we were on spear head.

I might be 2016, a long way from the Cold War, but I don't really believe anything has changed. And I don't believe it ever will, because human nature being what it is some bugger will always want that little bit more. And we all know the result of that, but try and convince our politicians of it !

Do you realise that there are about 7 000 000 000 people on this planet and they/we/you are ruled in an iron grip by about 5000 at any one time.

- Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion. The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit. He will also toast The Fallen. If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place. As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year. Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.
