Promise your workforce a good Government pension, and they'll do what they're told all right.
I've always had the impression that it was the German State Pension Scheme that did the Nazi's dirty work for them, by causing any State employees who knew what was going on to turn a blind eye to the things they saw going on. Those British police, are doing it for retirement at 55 and the index linked pension. I doubt that they really believe in what they're doing, but it won't stop them doing it.

The people to blame for this shit is not the police, but bloody politicians. Like any other service the Police do as they are told within the law of the land. But politicians home and abroad have created this shit situation we are living with at the moment. Along with do gooder campaigners they have allowed ghettos no go areas, opened the flood gates for the worst of the criminal fraternity from Eastern Europe along with Warped Islamic Terrorist who are all influenced by financial gain or the destruction of The British Society as we know it. And the twats still believe we do not have a problem !

Ad a visit from plod only last week, thank fukk the "Trouble" wuz at her weekly slimming world meeting at the time,"what will the neighbours think" n all that bollox that I don,t give a fukk about.
Bin trying ta gerra WW1 Trench knuckleduster fer Billy n contacted a mate o mine in Flanders who eventually got one for me n posted it on. Invited the plod duo in, n first thing they asked, "Have you had any post go missing?" "Only if it,s a WW1 Trench knuckleduster", I replied. Then one of em brings out this official customs n excise form n tells me that me package as bin scanned and the item confiscated as it,s classed as a "Lethal Weapon. Then he warns me not to get another one cos it cud get me into the shite. Tried to explain to him that these things are collectables and never intended to harm anyone but kept inside peoples gaffs as part o their collection. Only two young lads who sed they were only duin their jobs as instructed and in fact had a gud crack with em, but they drew line at my suggestion of em handcuffing me n draggin me out shouting me gob off befoor lobbin me into the meight wagon, just to entertain the neighbours watching events unfold from behind twitching curtains. The "Trouble" wudda bin fukkin pleased after being informed by the nosy News Of The World twat who lives across the road. Thaz gorra av a laff ant tha!
Talking to the lads I told em I kunt do their job under the restrictions placed upon em and they agreed with my old fashioned ways of thinking that all the toe rags they come across just need ta bi taken someweer quiet fer a gud twatting and booked into the local hossy fer a period of reflection while,st avin ta drink their scoff. Could sense the frustration in their attitude at how they have to conduct themselves when dealing with fukkin idiots on a daily basis n not being able ta give the kunts a gud twatting. This P C bollox az really fukked this country up big time! Handshakes, fond farewells and the two lads left on good terms but dint stop the nosy kunt from across the road collaring the "Trouble" n askin wot plod wuz duin at our gaff leaving her perplexed cos she knew fukk all about it. So next thing, "Dave!".......guess the fukkin rest!

Should have told them Dave, I only have it for educational purposes to show people the difference between Ferrous and Non Ferrous metals. But some of them being a bit thick, you have to hammer it in to make them understand, So it's just for the good of others really !

Dave, I presume they left you some paperwork? Does it say whether you can appeal? If so you should, because if you don't, in their eyes you were trying to acquire a weapon and not act like a collector. I would def appeal mate.

And no Don, they did,nt leave any paperwork, just showed me the customs report explaining that they had confiscated an illegally imported item, then the lads warned me not to try and obtain another one that is delivered through the postal system otherwise I will be charged with importing an illegal weapon. Load o bollox we know but I suppose rules is rules and tha can,t talk common sense to any of the faceless people who make these laws. To be honest the young PCs were good lads and we had a good laff about it all, they were only following orders and we know all about that.
