      Re: BREAKING!

Baby safety packs for those little round batteries for key fobs and things, bought one for the bathroom scales, thought easy enough cut the hard plastic off with scissors. Easy enough except I forget to take my finger out of the way before cutting, took a bloody great chunk out of my finger. Blood everywhere, grabbed some hand sanitizer stung like hell, then clagged a plaster on it job done. Then the physicians, you should go to hospital and get a stitch in that, yes and you need to do it now! You will get lockjaw if you don't have a jab for that ! Look it's a cut not a bloody gaping wound, so why don't you two buggers develop lockjaw and just let me get on with it ! I'm in the doghouse now, ignored, cold stares, and now I'm very happy, because I can't stand nags !

              Re: BREAKING!

Gentle exercise is the advice for these type of injuries these days,as rest just tends to make them seize up!

Its like that old song, One Finger one thumb keep moving. The body was designed to move, mind looking about in Tesco there are some clowns sitting in mobility scooters when there is nowt wrong with them. watched one gadgie get out of his motor walk unaided across the car park into the store and plonk himself on a mobility scooter with a trolley on the front, lazy idle twat !

                      Re: BREAKING!

Another eye problem! Noticed blurring in my left eye and now every time I look to my left or turn my head that way there's a 'curtain' comes across my sight. Suspect it might be detached retina so off to the optician to let them see,and maybe a trip to the eye hospital at the Royal for a fix. Fingers crossed it's something simpler than that!!!

Hope it,s nowt serious Pat, mince pies o very delicate n even a speck o sand blown in feels like a big fukk off boulder. Used ta wesh mine every mornin wi diluted Boric Acid, same stuff used ta mek that expensive Optrex stuff. Used ta buy it in a box in powder form, empty jam jar, two teaspoons full diluted in hot water wud last thi a month, whole box full wud mek thi at least a gallons weth. Cost o box o boric acid powder about 80P, but a few years agu the crafty bastards wized up n now tha just can,t gerrit fer luv na money. Soon after a stopped usin it about age 50 a ad ta start wearin readin specs, just shows thi dunnit! Really quiet on ere lately, worrit summat a sed?

                            Re: BREAKING!

All clear! Optician looked into my peeperand was shocked to find a massive 'floater' that she said was flag shaped, complete with pole. "Very apt" she said "with the 12th just around the corner, you can wave it at the parades!" I just pointed to the 3 Para cap badge on me chest and she shut up! No trip to hassy this time thank f.ck!
